Personal Interests
Beyond my passion for education, I have a wide range of interests that shape who I am both personally and professionally.
I enjoy working on projects that involve 3D printing and laser cutting, constantly exploring new ways to integrate technology into learning. During my student teaching at Old Mill Elementary School, I founded a 3D Printing Club for 5th graders, introducing them to design, problem-solving, and hands-on creativity. Watching students bring their ideas to life through technology was an incredibly rewarding experience and reinforced my belief in the power of STEM education.
My appreciation for the outdoors complements my enthusiasm for hands-on learning. Whether hiking, camping, or exploring nature, I find that these experiences not only provide adventure but also inspire my teaching approach—incorporating real-world applications and environmental awareness into the classroom.
Capturing moments through photography allows me to blend creativity with storytelling. I specifically enjoy aerial drone photography. From landscapes to candid moments, photography helps me document experiences and see the world from different perspectives—something I also encourage my students to do as they develop their own creativity and observational skills.
